Job Description Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative for Sunbelt Rentals Film and TV , you will be responsible for renting and selling our diverse line of Film and TV equipment and accessories. The typical customer base constitutes a mix of general and specialty contractors.
The development of successful intra-company relationships and working closely with a variety of sellers across our General Tool and other Specialty Businesses to cross-sell and promote The Power of Sunbelt and properly leverage Sunbelt’s resources is a cornerstone of this position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and build positive customer relationships
• Visit all customers within a five-week cycle
• Coordinate and participate in strategic entertainment of customers
• Prompt completion of all administrative duties, which include; but are not limited to: - Sales Plans - Sales reports
• Collect payments from customers and maintain accurate customer records
• Maintain open communications with Marketing, Profit Center Manager and Rental Manager regarding new equipment, equipment availability and rental programs
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills a must.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
